🎉 ANNIVERSARY SERIES – THOUGHT 1 OF 12 Little Slips, Big Signals: Climbing or Sliding? 🧠🐍🪜

As we approach our anniversary this Friday, we pause—not just to celebrate time, but to reflect on journey.

Since 2014, Lirix Enterprise has grown step by step, and since 2016, this blog has stayed with us—consistent, evolving, and rooted—like a pair of trousers that never leaves the waist 👖.

This anniversary, we are doing something different.

We invite you into a familiar game…

Snakes and Ladders.

But this time, the board is not cardboard.
It is our daily lives.

Every choice we make…
Every habit we form…
Either becomes a ladder that lifts us,
Or a snake that quietly pulls us back.

🧠 A Simple Question…

Have you ever walked into a room… and forgotten why you went there?

Or paused mid-sentence, searching for a word you’ve used countless times?

We laugh.
We shrug it off.
We move on.

But what if these little moments are not just slips…
but signals?

🪜🐍 The Mind Also Plays the Game

Sometimes, the mind only needs rest, care, and a little attention—and we find our way back.
A small pause… then we climb again.

Other times, the changes come slowly, quietly…
Not loud enough to alarm us,
But persistent enough to matter.

The difference?

Often, it lies in the ladders we build daily
or the snakes we ignore over time.

🪜 Our Ladders (Simple but Powerful)

  • Taking a mindful walk

  • Having meaningful conversations

  • Giving the mind space to rest

  • Engaging in activities that stimulate thinking

Sometimes, something as simple as an intentional walk can reset both body and mind—just like we explored in our Awe Walk concept:

🐍 Our Snakes (Often Unnoticed)

  • Constant stress without pause

  • Ignoring mental fatigue

  • Isolation

  • Saying “I’m fine” when we are not

These are not dramatic.
They are subtle.
And that is what makes them powerful.

🔄 Our Journey So Far…

Over the years, we have reflected on mental and emotional health in different seasons of life.

From understanding the delicate realities of:
👉 Postpartum Depression
https://tcmnigeria.blogspot.com/2024/08/understanding-postpartum-depression.html?m=1

To deeper conversations like:
👉 Postnatal Psychosis

And even exploring healing through engagement and play in:
👉 Snake & Ladder Quiz – Diversional Therapy

One thing remains clear:

Mental health is not a moment.
It is a journey shaped daily.

Pause and Reflect

  • What small habits are helping your mind climb today?

  • Are there quiet “snakes” in your routine you’ve been overlooking?

  • What if one small step today becomes your next ladder?

🎯 As We Celebrate…

Just like this blog has grown through consistency, learning, and intentional steps…

Your mind also journeys—daily.

Not in leaps,
But in choices.

This is Thought 1 of 12.

Stay with us as we climb together… 🪜

There's a way out

Premature ejaculation occur when a man expel semen immediately with minimal penile stimulation. The question is how premature is premature in sex when some individuals enjoy quickie. So premature is a function of both party having the intercourse but according to International society of Sexual Medicine, they define premature as ejaculation less than one minute after penetration. So no matter how much you love quickie, if you don't last more than a minute in bed then it's abnormal. Maybe you're suffering from premature ejaculation. The statistic of men sufferring from it should scare you, 1 out of every 3 men between the ages of 18 - 59 suffers from it. This should give some concern and hope knowing you're not along in it. Many believe it is psychological but let's view their frame of reference and see it biologically. Although ejaculation is a reflex action controlled by the central nervous system, when the penis is trapped with blood, it causes an erection. ...

PrEP vs. Other HIV Prevention Strategies: Education, Condom Use, and Behavioral Choices

While Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is a highly effective pharmaceutical approach to preventing HIV, it is important to recognize that there are other methods of prevention that can work in tandem or serve as alternatives. These include education, consistent condom use, monogamy, avoiding unprotected sex, and abstinence. Each method has its own benefits and drawbacks, and understanding how they compare can help individuals make more informed choices about their sexual health.   1. Education and Awareness: The Foundation of Prevention Education plays a critical role in preventing the spread of HIV. Knowledge about how HIV is transmitted, the risks of unprotected sex, and the importance of using preventive measures like condoms can significantly reduce the likelihood of infection. Programs that focus on safe sexual practices —including correct condom use, understanding HIV status, and avoiding high-risk behaviors—are essential components of a comprehensive HIV prevention strategy. ...
