When Hope Unborn is Dead

A merry heart does good like medicine. So does the Holy Book says but how can one be merry when hope disappoints?

Now that we are in the Christmas Holiday, it's a general believe that the prices of food and clothing skyrockets and we are still encourage through music to be joyful. Well, konga has made things easy these few days to Christmas. So don't let any circumstance steal your joy (delayed Salary or wages). The hope one has in a medicine go a long way in healing the person. I have seen someone who is used to taking just water when he is sick with the hope of getting well and it always work out for him.  From history, before the discovery of a chemotherapy for malaria, people see malaria  as a curse from  the angel of death. That was why Africa was called  the "White man's grave". But now, people see malaria as just mere fever that even many result in self medication without visiting the hospital but what if they are diagnosed of cancer or HIV/AID? How do you think the persons hope of survival would be? A real question to hope unborn.

Hope defer makes the heart sick says the Holy Book, if hope deferred makes the heart sick then what happens to someone whose hopes unborn has died? I like to take an example from the movie I watched "Dallas buyer club". I came to discover it was a biography and it borne the invention of retro-viral drugs to HIV/AIDS. He was diagnosed of HIV and given 30 days. He ended up living more than his diagnosed date. You could watch or read about the movie for more on the story.

Humans are very complex creature with the power to defeat any circumstance with the power of hope and will. To the question of this post, when hope unborn is dead, what shall we do? It is best answered with the question "can hope and dream die"? Just like the question someone asked when reacting to Martin Luther King Jr's statement on I have a dream "Can a dreams be murdered"? When we try to answer the question, we shall see that hope don't die. Only the bearer of such can grow sick when it's deferred. When one is faced with our present day incurable disease, it is the duty of the bearer to keep hope alive and not to give up on a way out of the sickness. Now we have one record of someone who was diagnosed of HIV/AIDS now free after stem transplant Details... If one develop a will to live and continue to keep hope alive, there would always be a way out of whatever sickness that confront one. All you need is not to keep hope unborn dead.

While Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is a highly effective pharmaceutical approach to preventing HIV, it is important to recognize that there are other methods of prevention that can work in tandem or serve as alternatives.
