PTSD symptoms of cheating (Will Smith actions at the Oscars).

The Men in Black American Hollywood actor Will Smith reacted over Chris Rock's jokes towards his wife. Not minding the camera or the nature of the show being air (twas an Oscar award night). He matched to the stage and slapped Chris Rock. Got back to his seat and yelled, "get my wife's name off your f*cking mouth" .

We shouldn't quickly forget that Jada Pinkett Smith, (Will Smith's wife) use to date Tupac and she is emotionally attached to him even when he's dead. We really do not want to discuss if the marriage is a good marriage or bad marriage, but whatever it is, they've been together for more than 23 or more years and counting.

The rumor behind Jada and August Alsina is another reason I quickly need to explain my own take on cheating. Will Smith marriage is blessed with two children (adult children of 24 and 19 or so years). Will Smith started dating her (Jada) after he divorced his first wife which had his eldest son. Jada didn't want to marry Smith but was forced into marrying him because she got pregnant for him and her mother wouldn't let her give birth out of wedlock. The all story from rumor is looking like she was coerced into the union.

I'm not a gossip blogger I should stay in my lane but rumor has it that they were in an open relationship and Smith is or was aware that his wife is open to date someone else and he gave his blessings (consent) to his wife relationship with August Alsina. Let me quickly define my take on cheating before my mouth gets me in trouble.

Cheating to me goes beyond having sex with someone not your partner, doing things (flirting, chatting and having secret dinner or lunch dates) you know if your partner gets to know, he or she wouldn't go down with it is to me also cheating. We try to find consolation in the thought of not sleeping around but your actions if gotten to the knowledge of your spouse is enough to cause what we want to discuss today.

PTSD stands for Post Trauma Stress Disorder, it is a disorder characterized by failure to recover from witnessing a terrifying event. It could last for month and even years; sometimes events could trigger the memories of the trauma which could be accompanied by intense emotional or physical reactions. There is another acronym that best describes the subject of discussion and it is PISD which stands for Post Infidelity stress Disorder. The symptoms is characterized by: fear, intrusive thoughts, helplessness confusion just to mention a few.
The person who is cheated on could experience trauma a little similar to the symptoms of PTSD which are: rage, humiliation, intrusive images, preoccupation, heighten anxiety to triggers, erratic behaviours and sudden mood swing.

I want to believe the slap and the crying of Will Smith should be his anxiety to triggers. Having the traumatic experience of your wife cheating, coupled with the fact that he is a public figure could be too much to take in. Talking about his wife especially from a comedian like Chris Rock could lead from a jokes about her hair to her infidelity and could be taken as one stand up comedy jokes. I want to believe Chris Rock acted a little matured. Weather the slap is deserving or not, it's for the gossip guys to decide.

I definitely would not support divorce but you should know the value systems of someone you really want to be with. If you noticed some disconnect, you shouldn't force your way (I'm not talking about rape please) into the persons life and keep living with all the trauma of being caged in a relationship. Even if you noticed it as a joke, you really need to know the intent of your partner before taken it to the next level. I don't know about you, but I believe love could happen at first sight, if you like define it as lust. Rumor had it that the couple met at a set where they played boyfriend and girlfriend but she ended up not fitting into the part. Then the love affair continued and someone is doing all he could to make it work. Like I said, even if you noticed some disconnect like a joke, pull away too to observe the individuals intent.

Guess we are focusing a lot on mental health this days, but if your mind is correct, your physical and social wellbeing would also be on point. So I'll leave by saying take care of yourself and each other.

PrEP vs. Other HIV Prevention Strategies: Education, Condom Use, and Behavioral Choices

While Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is a highly effective pharmaceutical approach to preventing HIV, it is important to recognize that there are other methods of prevention that can work in tandem or serve as alternatives. These include education, consistent condom use, monogamy, avoiding unprotected sex, and abstinence. Each method has its own benefits and drawbacks, and understanding how they compare can help individuals make more informed choices about their sexual health.   1.
