Bestility Health consequencies and Laws

 The mind is getting reprobate as the year goes by, I woke up this morning after doing my reading before even saying my prayers and reading my bible then I started seeing sex of animals with humans going viral on whatsapp social media app (status update to be precise). I had to mute the first person because clearly I know she's less concern about her image, so she can go out to put whatever on social media. Then started seeing it on different post and I thought as someone who promote alternative health in Nigeria, it is important I post something about it, and remind us of some of the laws of this act in other jurisdiction and  the health consequences.

Bestiality is simply having sexual intercourse with an animal. Irrespective of the animal, be it dogs, cat, horse, pig, goat etc. having sex with something alive that is not a person is bestiality and it's illegal and harmful to both parties. Bestiality is punishable by death in the early modern period. Sweden executed 700 people in the 1635 and 1778 along with non human animal involved, the last known hanging for bestiality in the United State was carried out at the Connecticut Supreme Court in January 1800.  Now law connecting bestiality is being watered down that some states have accepted it to be legal. It happened in Nigeria in the kuje area of FCT where a tailor of 20years was given twelve months imprisonment for sleeping with his goat.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

There are serious health consequences to this act that human race sometimes find difficult to recover from such as zoonosis which are commonly called zoonotic diseases. These are diseases that are passed from animals to humans which could cause illnesses that ranges from mild to severe and some even fatal illnesses. Some of which are:

Liptospirosis: it's a bacterial disease spread through the urine of infected animals. Any contact with the sexual organs of cat, dogs, cattle or pigs can transmit the disease to humans. This could lead to meningitis which leads to death in 10% of it's cases.

Enchinococcosis: This is a parasite disease of tape worm of Enchinococcus type. It symptoms is not easily detected. It causes cysts in the lungs, brain, heart and kidney. It has no cure and very fatal.

Rabies: it is a common fact that 90% of rabies is transmitted from dogs saliva. Other animals could transmit it it too. It is fatal if not treated in when exposed.

We have other diseases caused by bestiality. How about the high risk of injury and the allergies of foreign body (semen) introduce to the body.

We hear that having sexual intercourse with a dog, one get to keep the sum of N1.5 Million naira now in Lagos. This is no longer news but I just want us to hear the story of who did it and what she ended up spending her money on.

I wish you saw it, after sleeping with 13 dogs, she spent all the money treating herself, now she is in the village with no cure to her illness.

TCM would keep doing all they can but why not just prevent it by avoiding it.

Understanding CPR: A Lifesaving Skill Everyone Should Learn

The tragic passing of popular Nigerian actor John Paul Odonwodo, known as Junior Pope, in April 2024, serves as a stark reminder of the importance of emergency preparedness and the life-saving skill of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). Junior Pope's untimely death, reportedly due to drowning while returning from a movie shoot, highlights a critical need for greater awareness and training in CPR across Nigeria. While initial reports suggested he was resuscitated, this incident underscores a vital point: effective CPR can mean the difference between life and death. Unfortunately, many people in Nigeria lack the knowledge and training necessary to perform this life-saving technique.   What is CPR? CPR is a combination of chest compressions and rescue breaths aimed at restoring blood flow and oxygen to the brain and vital organs when someone's heartbeat has stopped or they have stopped breathing. It is crucial in various emergencies, not just drowning but also in cases of cardia...
