Zone therapy

Reflexology the gentle manipulation of certain part of the foot to produce effect elsewhere in the body also called zone therapy. It is a very important part of alternative health but not scientifically proven. You necessarily do not have to attach/apply oil to the foot or palm to get result.
Practitioners believe the process produce energy and release "blockage" in certain area of the body that causes pain or illness. Refloxology might not have been proven to be used to solve medical problems but persons who have used it can testify of it's effectiveness.

Many reflexologist believe it helps the body heal itself. They believe there are some energy field that is invisible ( life force or Qi) which when blocked can hinder the body from healing. Manupulating the feet according to some practitioners relieves stress and pain on some other part of the body.
Zone therapy is one of the most useful alternative health therapy in demark. Statistics have it that 21.4% of Danish population had used refloxology in their lifes.
The practice of zone therapy had exist long ago in China and Egypt. But it was introduce to the USA in 1913 by william H. Fitzgerald an ENT (Ear, Noise and throat) specialist and modified by a nurse called Eunice D Ingham. They believe the entire body is mapped in the foot and palm and applying pressure to it produces an effect in other parts of the body. Eunice renamed "zone therapy" refloxology.
Many alternative health company had exploit the practice in diagnosing body ailments and helping the body heal herself through pad. Name that easily comes in mind is the tasily detoxicin sheet.
